Business in Kishangarh
Marble drives Kishangarh's economy: hundreds of gang-saw and processing units cut blocks from Rajasthan quarries and imported stone into slabs and tiles, and its marble market is widely described as one of Asia's largest. Granite traders, transporters and slurry-handling services cluster around the same belt, and the town is also known for the Bani Thani style of miniature painting.
Also known as Madanganj-Kishangarh.
Where software helps: Marble processors and traders here track thousands of slabs by block, size, finish and grade, while managing gang-saw job-work, truck bookings and credit to builders and retailers across India.
