Business in Rome
State-linked groups give the capital much of its corporate weight: Enel, Eni, Poste Italiane and Leonardo all have head offices here, alongside government ministries and agencies. Tourism drives the historic centre, the RAI broadcaster and Cinecittà film studios anchor the media trade, and the Tiburtina Valley east of the city hosts aerospace, defence-electronics and telecom firms.
Also known as Roma.
Where software helps: Hotels, tour operators and restaurant groups in Rome handle tourist-tax remittances, OTA commissions and SdI e-invoicing at once, and need booking, billing and accounting systems that reconcile automatically rather than by hand.
