Do you build custom ERP and AI software for businesses in Dakar?
Yes, remotely. Flip Retail is a software studio in Jaipur, India, with no office in Dakar; discovery happens on video calls and you get working software every two weeks.
How do time zones work between Dakar and Jaipur?
Jaipur is 5 h 30 min ahead of Dakar all year. A 09:00 start there is 14:30 in Jaipur. Standard 09:00–18:00 office days overlap by 3 h 30 min, which is enough for live calls, demos and same-day answers.
Can a custom ERP handle TVA and e-invoicing in Senegal?
Yes. Invoicing is built for Senegal's TVA (standard rate 18%). On e-invoicing: The 2025 Finance Law requires VAT payers to issue invoices electronically through a public invoicing portal or a DGID platform, with a penalty of 25% of the VAT (capped at XOF 5m). As of September 2026 the platform, technical specifications and go-live date had not been published. When the mandate takes effect, a custom ERP can connect to DGID public e-invoicing portal/platform through its official API or an accredited provider; we design for it from the start.
Where will our data be stored, and what about Law 2008-12?
You choose: your own cloud account in a region that suits you, or your own servers. Access inside the system is role-based, and during development we work on test or masked data wherever possible. Most processing must be notified to the Commission de Protection des Données Personnelles (CDP), biometric, genetic and ID-number data need prior authorisation, and transfers abroad are allowed only to countries with adequate protection unless consent or necessity applies.
Can you migrate us from Sage 100 / Saari, Odoo or SAP Business One?
Yes. Masters, ledgers, stock and opening balances move across and are reconciled with your accountant before cutover, ideally at a year-end or quarter-end.
Can your AI agents talk to customers in French and Wolof?
For French, yes: current language models handle it well, including mixed-language messages. Support for Wolof is more limited, so we test with real customer messages before committing to it, and route anything the agent is unsure about to your team.
What would a first project look like for a logistics business?
Usually one module that fixes the most expensive problem first. For logistics & ports that is often job & shipment costing and warehouse management (bins, put-away, picking). It goes live early, and the rest of the system follows in two-week increments while your team is already using it.
