Two-wheeler and car plants at nearby Tapukara, together with hundreds of auto-component, sheet-metal and plastic-moulding units, make Bhiwadi a supplier base for the NCR automotive belt. Steel rolling mills, a float-glass plant, electrical-equipment makers and warehouses also operate in this Rajasthan town on the Haryana border, south of Gurugram.
