On e-invoicing: Electronic Invoicing System Administration Directive No. 1142/2026 (Ministry of Revenues, June 2026) sets up a central clearance model in which invoices registered through approved systems receive a registration number and QR code. As of early October 2026 no schedule designating which taxpayers must comply and when had been published, so existing tax-invoice and sales-register rules continue to apply. For English, yes: current language models handle it well, including mixed-language messages. Support for Amharic and Afaan Oromo is more limited, so we test with real customer messages before committing to it, and route anything the agent is unsure about to your team.
