Do you build custom ERP and AI software for businesses in Budapest?
Yes, remotely. Flip Retail is a software studio in Jaipur, India, with no office in Budapest; discovery happens on video calls and you get working software every two weeks.
How do time zones work between Budapest and Jaipur?
Jaipur is 4 h 30 min ahead of Budapest on standard time, and 3 h 30 min ahead during daylight saving time there. A 09:00 start there is 13:30 in Jaipur. Standard 09:00–18:00 office days overlap by 4 h 30 min to 5 h 30 min, which is enough for live calls, demos and same-day answers.
Can a custom ERP handle VAT and e-invoicing in Hungary?
Yes. Invoicing is built for Hungary's VAT (standard rate 27%). On e-invoicing: Data from virtually all invoices issued by Hungarian VAT taxpayers (B2B, B2C and to foreign customers) must be reported to NAV in real time via the Online Számla system, but the invoice itself may still be paper, PDF or XML. NAV has published a ViDA-aligned concept for mandatory structured e-invoicing, which was not yet law at last check. A custom ERP connects to NAV Online Számla through its official API or an accredited provider, and we confirm the current requirements in discovery.
Where will our data be stored, and what about GDPR?
You choose: your own cloud account in a region that suits you, or your own servers. Access inside the system is role-based, and during development we work on test or masked data wherever possible. GDPR applies directly, supplemented by Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (Infotv.) and supervised by the NAIH; B2B buyers expect an Art. 28 data processing agreement, a sub-processor list and, in practice, EU/EEA hosting or SCC-covered transfers.
Can you migrate us from Számlázz.hu, Billingo or Kulcs-Soft?
Yes. Masters, ledgers, stock and opening balances move across and are reconciled with your accountant before cutover, ideally at a year-end or quarter-end.
Can your AI agents talk to customers in Hungarian and English?
Yes. Current language models handle Hungarian and English well, including mixed-language messages. We still test an agent in each language your customers use before it goes live, and route anything it is unsure about to your team.
What would a first project look like for a pharma business?
Usually one module that fixes the most expensive problem first. For pharma & life sciences that is often batch & expiry control and formula and recipe management. It goes live early, and the rest of the system follows in two-week increments while your team is already using it.
