Can a custom ERP handle IVA and e-invoicing in Chile?
Yes. Invoicing is built for Chile's IVA (standard rate 19%). On e-invoicing: Since 2018 all companies must issue and receive DTEs (invoices, credit/debit notes, dispatch guides) signed with SII folio authorization (CAF), and electronic receipts (boleta electrónica) are required for B2C sales; SII proposes the monthly F29 VAT return from DTE data. A custom ERP connects to SII DTE through its official API or an accredited provider, and we confirm the current requirements in discovery.
