Business in Ankleshwar
An oilfield first put Ankleshwar on India's industrial map, and ONGC still produces crude here. Today its GIDC estate is among Asia's largest chemical clusters, with hundreds of units making dyes, pesticides, pharmaceutical intermediates and speciality chemicals, supported by common effluent treatment and nearby estates at Panoli and Jhagadia.
Also known as Ankleshvar.
Where software helps: Multi-product chemical plants here switch reactors between pesticide, dye and pharma-intermediate batches, so they need campaign scheduling, per-batch solvent and yield tracking, and hazardous-waste manifests that reconcile with production.
